In NYC next week…
Next week I’ll be attending a professional enrichment course at the Merchant Marine Academy in King’s Point, NY (on LawnGuyLand). I’m expecting to be done with class not later than 5pm (and more likely about 4pm) each day and I will be purchasing 7-day unlimited passes for both the LIRR and MTA systems so that I can come and go as I please. Anyone wanting to meet for dinner or drinks should please comment here or ping me at

I’m planning on sampling different cuisines (with a focus on those cuisines that are not readily available in the Baltimore Metro area), so if there’s some restaurant that you’ve been dying to try out, but no one else wants to go, ping me. I’m also not opposed to other cultural stuff, but will need to be back to my lodgings in Great Neck by 10 to 10:30 pm.
