Now
This is a /now page. It includes some information about what I’ve been doing lately. Some of the information shown here is sourced from APIs and gets updated twice per month at minimum.
I’m ADHD like whoa! so if some of the dates here look a bit stale, please poke at me about it. Feel free to lead off with “your website says …”
There used to be a list of my top 3 games for the most recent 2 weeks but Steam has changed their API policy in a way that is incompatible with how this website is built.1

When this website is automatically rebuilt (1st and 15th of the month, and any time I merge changes into the main branch of the git repository), the runner first makes some API requests to pull data from other sources and writes the resulting data to a file in the /now page directory. Steam now requires that all API requests originate from the domain (FQDN) specified when you apply for the key. Because I only request the data when the site is rebuilt (rather than when a visitor visits), I will never be making the API request from cordelya.net. And no, I will not “just” change to using Javascript to fetch the data every time the page is loaded. ↩︎
